Those are the best nights, aren’t they? Sometimes all I want is to get them off to bed ASAP but the little things make me enjoy the few extra minutes (the extra hug the extra kiss, the extra “I love you”) However, after my past 4 days of sleep frustration I think I will enjoy a quick and easy bedtime tonight!

LOVE this post! What a wonderful, wonderful lesson to learn and be reminded of! I need those reminders all the time, as I’m always in a rush to get them in bed too. Kids are so exhausting at times, but you’re right, they are the greatest gift as well!

Sometimes when I’m thinking about how I just want some time to myself and am getting frustrated, I tell myself that I’m going to have so many decades of easy nights and to-myself evenings. What I won’t have is cuddly bedtimes with little ones!
