I have been curious about WordPress for some time. Unfortunately I won’t be moving my current blog because of page rank but my new blogs will be tested in WordPress. Like yourself I’m a bit daunted by the coding but I’m sure it will make sense eventually.

Jen and Joy – I really need to get that plug-in for responding to comments via email, but hopefully you’ll see this. Restored 316 Designs made the move for me and I would highly recommend hriring a pro to do the job if you are not sure. There is so much more freedom on WP and so many more options.

Congratulations on the move! My hubby got me a hosting service and books on WordPress for Christmas. I am so intimidated though and worried about how much time it will take me to learn that I still haven’t made much effort. Have you had a good experience with WordPress so far?

So true! All of it!! I just switched too (not self-hosted…but I will do that in the future), and I am so much happier already!

Now here’s something crazy: My Google Friend Connect “Followers” are still getting my WordPress feed IN THEIR BLOGGER DASHBOARD. I can’t even fathom how that’s possible or how that can make ANY sense. Oh well, I’ve decided there is nothing logical about Blogger at all! So glad I’ve moved on!!

Yes Alexis, but my feeds aren’t updating. So in order for a follower to “see” me in their reader, they have to manually put me there or resubscribe. Otherwise, my updates aren’t being picked up.
