And I went to see the Christmas show and the same night my daughter had an allergy attack!! Maybes its NYC!? We are from south NJ and decided to stay at my moms after the show because she lives in north NJ. And anyway to make a long story short, we had to drive home at 1:30 in the morning because she was coughing, wheezing and could not catch her breathe. I was about to take her to the ER but when we left my moms house she calmed down quite quickly. We think its the dog. This prompted a visit to the allergist where we did not to a scratch test but she was diagnosed with asthma, triggered by allergens and colds. The kids looked like they had fun at the show though!! My 2 year old is allergic to fire ants. We found out this summer after he was bitten several times and went into anaphylactic shock. It was the most horrible experience of my motherhood thus far. Thankfully, I administered Benadryl quickly enough and he recovered by the next day. But we now carry an Epi pen everywhere and I completely understand how awful this experience must have been for you. Allergies are so crazy!
