So, it’s official.
I am creating and publishing my very first post on WordPress and it feels fabulous! I have to give a huge thank you to Lauren at Restored316Designs. I cannot say enough about her! Not only did she answer the million questions I had about this move, she helped to restore my previous design and moved my blog from Blogger over to WordPress beautifully. There is so much to learn on this platform and she was so patient with me and my emails!
Many of you have been asking why I made the move from Blogger, so I will be posting about my experience very soon…
In the meantime, I still have some tweaking to do here and there, but I would love for you to stick around and check out my new digs! There are so many new features for you to love, but I think my favorite so far is the Connect with Theta Mom box with those awesome icons! It’s such a clean and polished look. Totally loving it!
This is definitely a whole new bloggy world and I couldn’t be more excited about this change. So pull up a chair, grab a latte and hang out with me. We have so much to catch up on!
Oh, I almost forgot…

it looks great!! congratulations on the move. i like wordpress much better than i did blogger. i moved from there around 1 1/2 years ago. very happy i did.

Hi Debbie, thank you! There are so many options with WP, so I’m not sure if you can do it on Blogger. I had the designer add it for me. I would try googling it or ask other bloggers who you have seen it used on Blogger.

Love the new site and Thesis just rocks! I have been so busy with National Blog Posting Month (I do not think I will ever do it again) that I have had little time to bond with my bloggie besties like you! And little time to work on my site! I want to add a post intro (or move my ending thingie to the beginning) and add the twitter name in comments and some bigger stuff! Everything here looks fantabulous! You know me – I’ll be back! Congrats on the move! Does that mean I’m going to have to do it now, too? I want to; you know how I feel about Blogger these days. It’s just a matter of taking that jump. I love that your design is still colorful. That’s one of the things that has kept me from moving so far. I didn’t want a plain vanilla design. Now I have to cross that off my list of excuses for not moving.

Congrats on the switch! Everything looks great!! It makes me wish I was already switched over…definitely will be moving. I think I’m going to wait until my blogoversary at the beginning of March and do a total redesign. Anyway, so glad it went so well for you! Oh, and your page loads SO MUCH FASTER now (which of course is one of my Blogger pet peeves)!!

Hey, congrats on the new layout, it looks fab! I can’t get over how many followers you have, I remember when I was part of your first 20 not so long ago!
