However, I can only imagine the high level of frustration (or anger) that you felt. You're right that it should never be tolerated. I mean, I think it would be okay for someone else to quote you, or copy-paste a portion of your post (or even the entire post) but it has to be clearly stated that the content was taken from your blog and that you are the writer. It's also useless to analyze the person's motives because whatever excuse he/she might come up with, we all know that there's no excuse. Hi. I did have someone post one of my pictures from my blog and say I "sent it in". She did include a link to my blog so it wasn't as bad and in all honesty this blog is much more popular than mine so she is probably doing me a favor....but it still bothers me that she said I "sent it in" to her blog when I did not. To my knowledge I have not had anyone copy an entire post, that would be very annoying! I did have someone post one of my pictures from my blog and say I “sent it in”. Back in the day (like… 2000-2001) when I started blogging, if someone stole something you put up, you’d be globally humiliated for it. Every friend and their friends and their mothers would visit your blog and destroy you in your comments then they’d post about it on every BBS known to man and let more people know.

I never had to go through that but I know a couple people who did (not only for stealing but for like… some of their posts in general). Hope you never have to go through that again.
