Since late October, I’ve had some major Google drama. The kind of drama that forced me to make the move to WordPress. If you want to read up on all of the reasons why I left Blogger, be sure to read this post. Anyway, it has been so frustrating for me the last few months because I have not been able to sign into Google Friend Connect to follow any blog. Not one single blog.
My reader was completely messed up, many were not receiving my feed and any blog I previously followed (before the Google breakdown) did not have my public profile showing. I was a blank blue square on GFC and some blogs couldn’t display my profile at all. It was a complete nightmare.
Up until now.
For whatever reason the stars have aligned and I now have Google magic!!! If I was previously following you, I magically can see your blog again in my reader! And what’s more exciting is that I see my cute little profile picture on your GFC widget. And the really good news for Theta Mom?
I can follow blogs again!!! {Insert AMEN here}

I love that you are soooo good at bringing the community together and enabling everyone to meet these other awesome women that they may not have had thr chance to meet. I have discovered some really inspiring women and some great blogs since I have been a follower!

I think your google magic was more like a Java Update.
I don’t know why but when I have had problems……….I updated my Java & then I got google magic too.
It’s that stuipd Adobe flash player 10 still giving me headaches.
I update it weekly & still get shut down & as Adobe Flash player 10 warning.

Oh, just wanted to add my Twitter name!
Okay, I am posting with you for the first time here. I have been a lurker/reader since I first found you. Never posting and I have found that it is not “standard etiquette” LOL
I am in the process of starting my Blog (Hope that we get all design elements in this weekend) – I found Blogs by researching how to start one and found yours during a series of searches I did. (I would search certain subjects/topics that I like and search only in Blogs)
From that I also would visit everyone’s linky pages and blogrolls and found even more great Blogs! I have found many I love to visit very often and many I try and visit at least once a week.
I want to let you know I have admired your Blog from the other side of my computer screen and feel I should actually post for you now. I look forward to reading more and visiting often.

Google certainly has its quirks. (Sometimes I see a follower’s list and sometimes I don’t, but I noticed this more when I connect to my blog through MSN and not Firefox.) I still don’t see your blog updates in my follower’s list but I cured this by getting an e-mail when you make a new post. (I have also noticed that I don’t get updates from a few other blogs I used to follow and they are all Word Press.)
I am now having problems with Twitter. I joined just so that my blog posts could get more traffic (set it up with RSS feed so that every time I post it appears on my Twitter site.) Well, even though Twitter says my feed is active, my posts are not showing. Twitter was just an afterthought anyway so if it keeps doing this, I’m just going to discontinue it. (Less technological headaches mean a happier me…)
