Modern Bird Studios is owned and operated by Gregg and Megan Deal. Beginning this business as a husband and wife team, they already knew that modern art can be very expensive and impersonal if mass produced so they wanted to develop a way to offer artwork that is both personal and affordable. This passion started with Gregg who always loved art. He studied classic drawing and painting in college but knew he wouldn’t be able to support a family one day on this alone. So he added graphic design to his resume and devised a way to ensure that these two mediums coexisted. After some extensive research and planning, Gregg had the brilliant idea to combine graphic design, photography and traditional painting to create original handmade pieces of art which is ultimately when Modern Bird Studios was born.
I reviewed a 24” x 12” piece which is made of a thick Oak wood composite. Based on the photo of my children that I sent to Modern Bird Studios, here is an image of the amazing art that I so proudly display in my home:
I can’t tell you enough how impressed I am with this company. From the very first email exchange, Megan made this process a smooth one for me. In addition, the first proof that was sent for my approval had a lot of shadowing around my daughter’s face which appeared too dark for my liking. Modern Bird Studios wants complete customer satisfaction and they want you to love the art as much as they do. Without hesitation Gregg worked on the shadowing around my daughter’s face and within a few days I was given two more proofs to approve and the end result was nothing short of amazing. I now have a beautiful piece of art hanging in my home that will stay with me forever. When my children get older I will reflect back on this work and remember this special time in my life. To me, this kind of art is classic and timeless; it’s truly something I will treasure for many years to come.
