This time of year is always a great time for reflection. It’s a time to think of the past year and the accomplishments and pitfalls that came with it; the funny moments, the sad ones and all of those in between. It’s a chance for us to look ahead toward the future with new goals and aspirations, especially as we begin to kick-off the New Year.
Jill at Scary Mommy has a great idea of posting “The Best of 2009” in blog posts. It’s a great way to share your personal favorite posts and at the same time, link up and meet other bloggers that are doing the same!
Here are my favorites at Theta Mom from the past six months of beginning this blog:

So grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable and come hang out with me for awhile. We’re just getting started…

Thanks for posting all of these heather. I started following your blog in September. I remember how much I loved (and still do) reading these posts. I just read the July one about dropping your son of at daycare and I can totally relate. That day will be etched in my head forever. Thank god they run in now and love it but at first oh my gosh it was hard. Thanks for all of your blog posts. Tammy

Now I’m crying over your “jellybeans” post! I remember 16 years ago when I had to put my oldest in daycare….the feelings are still so fresh

I’m doing something similar on my blog too! It’s such a great time to go back over all the posts in the last year to review the year and all the events that came and went.
I remember many of the posts you linked to….you’re writing is spectacular!! The one post that always stands out in my mind was the one where your son went next door and your neighbor gave him something with peanuts in it (ice cream I think) and he had an allergic reaction. Now when I have friends’ children over for playdates I always be sure to ask if they’re allergic to anything.
